The top names in the historic automotive world came together locally to put on an world class annual concours that benefited local charities. I was asked to develop a representative icon that captured the soul of the event. While they had already explored various hood ornament like variations similar to all other events, I came up with the turn to focusing on the emotional spirit of the day. Utilizing vintage color schemes and a caricaturized mascot of the leisurely gentleman driver, I was able to design a recognizable stamp logo that would be able to be used in all mediums and be instantly identifiable.
