Marxfoods.com was launched in 2007 to give online access to foods previously only available on a foodservice level. Currently, the site carries over 1,200 items and counts the top restaurants and most ambitious home chefs in the united states as its customers.

I am currently responsible for creative/marketing direction, leading the team on UX/UI, visual design and brand standards, web-programing, content marketing and creation, photography, copywriting and editing, email and online marketing as well as producing and directing multiple photoshoots per month working with world renownd chefs and food producers, both here in the united states as well as abroad.

The Website

Launched in the end of 2016, the current iteration utilizes a modern and responsive e-commerce platform with a unique look designed to showcase both the vast product information and photography that have been developed in-house.

Test Kitchen Content Series

After studying user flow through conversions, and analyzing survey results, it became clear that our overly knowledgable staff was being under utilized from a marketing position. With this, I conceived of a series of shoots held in our office test kitchen using our staff as chef's to explore some of our more obscure products. I directed the team of copywriters, artists, and photographers to shoot and develop online and social content bringing forth their expertise, while also highlighting our more interesting products.
